学位的类型及特点：
①Associate’s degree -副学士学位
可以在两年内获得的本科水平学位，使学生具备特定学科的基础技能和知识。通常攻读副学士学位是为了给学士学位学习做准备～四种类型可以选择：
- AA- Associate of Arts
- AS- Associate of Science
- AAA-Associate of Applied Arts
- AS- Associate of Applied Science
②Bachelor’s degree- 学士学位
本科水平的学位。与副学士学位相比，学士学位-一般需四年来完成，学费也自然更高。学士学位通常是许多职业的最低学历要求國一些大学提供非全日制学士学位课程，包括面授和在线课程。三种类型：
- BA- Bachelor of Arts
- BS- Bachelor of Science
- BFA- Bachelor of Fine Arts
③Master’s degree -硕士学位
高级或研究生水平的学位。全日制硕士大约需要两年时间来完成河攻读硕士学位能获得更多专业知识，并有助职业生涯。硕士学位的领域很广，其中包括：
- MHA- Master of Health Administration
- MBA- Master of Business Administration
- MPA- Master of Public Administration

③Doctorate degree – 博士学位
高级或研究生学位，常见的某一领域最高学位资格。博士学位约4至8年。攻读者通常对学术界职业感兴趣，如大学教授或研究学者。两种类型：academic
and professional， 它们又被分为：
- PhD- Doctor of Philosophy
- BA- Doctor of Business Administration
